(NASDAQ: ERII), a leader in the design and development of energy recovery devices for desalination, today announced that executives will deliver a presentation entitled "Affordable Desalination as the Sustainable Solution" at the United Nations (U.N.) headquarters on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. H.P. Michelet, executive chairman of the board, and G.G. Pique, president and CEO, will illustrate the significant impact of the mounting global water crisis and how technology advancements have established desalination as an economically viable solution.

More than 6,700 PX devices are currently deployed or under contract to be installed at desalination plants across the globe, helping to supply affordable, clean water to more than 29 million people.
